Référent technique Plateau Analyse de l’eau :
Ce plateau est dédié à l’analyse des nutriments inorganiques (ammonium, nitrates, nitrites, orthophosphates) et du carbone organique dissous dans des eaux naturelles. L'analyse de ces éléments permet de soutenir différents travaux traitant de l'influence des conditions trophiques sur la diversité et le fonctionnement des écosystèmes
Un automate Smartchem 200 (marque AMS Alliance) permet de déterminer les concentrations en nutriments dans des échantillons liquides préalablement filtrés sur la base de méthodes colorimétriques classiques (ex : méthode à l’indophénol bleu pour l’analyse des ions ammonium). Un COTmètre de marque Analytik Jena permet l'analyse du carbone total et organique ainsi que l’azote total dans les eaux par combustion de l’échantillon à haute température et quantification du CO2 dégagé par un détecteur infrarouge.

This platform is dedicated to the analysis of inorganic nutrients (ammonium, nitrates, nitrites, orthophosphates) and dissolved organic carbon in natural waters. The analysis of these elements supports various studies on the influence of trophic conditions on the diversity and functioning of ecosystems.
A Smartchem 200 analyser (AMS Alliance brand) is used to determine nutrient concentrations in liquid samples that have been pre-filtered using conventional colorimetric methods (e.g. the indophenol blue method for analysing ammonium ions). An Analytik Jena TOC meter is used to analyse total and organic carbon as well as total nitrogen in water by burning the sample at high temperature and quantifying the CO2 released by an infrared detector.
