Je suis écologue aquatique et j'étudie l'impact des facteurs de stress anthropiques sur la biogéochimie et la dynamique des réseaux trophiques à l'échelle des écosystèmes (par exemple, les étangs d'aquaculture, les lacs d'eau dure, les océans côtiers). En tant que professeur d'écologie fonctionnelle à l'Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, j'enseigne plusieurs cours d'écologie et je suis l'un des coordinateurs du programme H2O'Lyon Master 2 en Integrated Watershed Sciences (enseigné en Anglais). En tant que secrétaire générale et trésorière de la Société internationale de limnologie (SIL), je contribue à former les futurs chercheurs et à faciliter le transfert de connaissances afin de promouvoir la limnologie au sein de la communauté internationale.

I am an aquatic ecologist studying the impacts of anthropogenic stressors on biogeochemistry and food-web dynamics at the ecosystem-level (e.g., aquaculture ponds, hardwater lakes, coastal ocean). As Professor in Functional Ecology at the Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, I am teaching several ecology classes and I am one of the coordinators of the H2O'Lyon Master 2 program in Integrated Watershed Sciences (taught in English). As Secretary General / Treasurer at the International Society of Limnology (SIL), I help to empower researchers of tomorrow and facilitate knowledge-transfer to promote limnology to and from a global community.
